Owners - The Mccallisters

Aida, Sherry, Hoka, Amelia, Ken

Sherry:  When I finished raising and homeschooling my three kids I wanted to find a job where I could still be outdoors for chunks of time every day. I’m lucky to be outside with your dogs, watching the mountains and sky all day. Working with dogs, customers, and some very fine staff has been satisfying for the past ten years. I graduated from University of Massachusetts/Amherst with a degree in Journalism. Does that help? Maybe if we start a dog themed podcast!

Amelia: All-4-Paws was one of my very first jobs (back when we were Dog Days Inn), and I kept coming back until it finally became our family business in 2014. I received my bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing in 2013 from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC. I met my husband there and brought him and our dog, Hoka (the face of A4P), back to the Valley after we graduated. I worked for a boarding facility in NC and also in NM, but nothing ever compared to All-4-Paws. I have had the incredible experience of caring for your dogs from puppyhood into their golden years, several I’ve known since I was 19.  I had a baby in 2023 and have taken a step back from work to focus on him and his two fur-siblings, but you’ll still see me around.

Ken:  I grew up in Del Norte, graduated from Ft Lewis College with a degree in Business Administration, moved away, and came back to raise a family. Over the years  I have worked as a roofing contractor, aerial applicator, managed rental properties, worked in facilities maintenance for local healthcare organizations, and currently work at All 4 Paws whenever I’m needed. The things I really appreciate about the kennel are the wonderful staff and the company of the dogs. They’re always fun to be around.

Boarding and Daycare Staff

August

Boarding Manager, with All-4-Paws for 8 years.

I have 2 blue heeler mixes and a cockatiel. I’m a graduate from Adams State University with my degree and passion being theatre! When I'm not working here you can find me playing video games, film making, traveling, or just walking my girls somewhere around town.

My favorite part of being a part of this team and working with dogs is seeing all the different personalities of customers and dogs come through. It teaches us just how much dogs are their own individuals with likes and dislikes just like ourselves.

Felicity

Front Desk, Welfare Specialist, Dog Wrangler, with All-4-Paws for 2 years.

I have a little yorkie named Bruce. I love art in all kinds of forms and tend to be kind of a free spirit. When I'm not working you can find me somewhere in the mountains, at the park, or lounging around with good food. My favorite part of this team and working with dogs is seeing all the personalities and love these puppies bring. Also, interacting with our lovely customers!

Paul

Dog Wrangler, with All-4-Paws for 8 years.

I have 1 Australian Shephard, 1 Aussie Silkie Terrier, and 2 Chihuahuas. I attended Florida International University for history and philosophy. When I'm not working, handling and interacting with our canine guests you can find me creating, composing and producing music as well as video. I love the outdoors and mountain biking.

My favorite part of being a part of this team and working with dogs is experiencing the unconditional love all the furbabies bring to the facility. Alongside all the dynamic days and doggy energies. Love our customers cause we are all doggy parents and that’s amazing!!

Timmy

Kennel Tech, with All-4-Paws for half a year.

I have two small chihuahuas. I am big into sports and personal fitness, and overall enjoy being active. My favorite part of this team and working with dogs is all the love and energy the dogs give me whenever I see them. It’s easy to stay in a positive mood and keep a smile on my face while I’m working. I'm glad that I’m able to learn about all the personalities of the different breeds that I’m around.
